STEVE HART CATCHES UP WITH JENNY DUGGAN

Ace photographer Steve Hart is the owner of a Nikon stills camera which can be converted to a high definition movie camera with the flick of a switch. Steve uses the device principally to capture the magic moments at Sydney race meetings. Every now and again he likes to flick that magic switch and pay a visit to one of his favourite racing personalities.

Recently he called in on talented jockey Jenny Duggan who was waiting for a medical clearance to resume riding after an injury enforced layoff. Jenny had actually been on the crest of a wave when she suffered a recurrence of neck injuries sustained in a horror fall at Scone in 2020.

The Swedish born jockey actually won a NSW amateur premiership before joining the professional ranks in 2012. She won at her first professional ride at Port Macquarie and has gone on to establish a sound reputation. Jenny is still absent from the riding ranks and her frustration shows in this laid back chat with Steve.
