STEVE HART TALKS TO COMEBACK JOCKEY SAM CLIPPERTON

Former gun race photographer Steve Hart has been out and about with his dual purpose camera and has recorded a great chat with Sam Clipperton, the talented jockey who walked away from racing in December 2024 to sample life as a stock and station agent in the Hunter Valley. Few were surprised when the lure of the track proved too strong, and Sam launched a return to the saddle almost a year ago. His recent Gr 2 wins on Juja Kibo suggest the 32 year old is better than ever. Steve Hart was kind enough to send me a copy of his interview, and I’m delighted to add it to this week’s content.
